Mont-Sainte-Anne -- Ski Resort

About Mont-Sainte-Anne

Mont-Sainte-Anne, built by the Quebec government in 1965, but sold to private investors, has three faces and 56 trails covering 428 acres of terrain -- the largest range of trails in eastern Canada. But 20 years before the official opening of the ski area, Mont-Sainte-Anne was the host, in February 1947, of the Alpine Skiing Canadian Championships. This event was the first in a long list of major competitions that would happen here. Mont-Sainte-Anne, which was recently purchased by The Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Ltd., offers the unique advantage of a world-class resort and a historic city offering a French European atmosphere.
